The Showman’s Studio – Terms and Conditions of Studio Hire
1. General Terms
- 1.1. By hiring The Showman’s Studio, the Hirer agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
- 1.2. The Hirer must be at least 18 years old and provide valid identification and proof of address before hiring the studio.
- 1.3. The Showman’s Studio reserves the right to refuse any hire request at its discretion.
2. Booking & Payment
- 2.1. All bookings must be made in advance and are subject to availability.
- 2.2. Full payment must be made upfront to confirm the booking.
- 2.3. Any additional costs incurred during the hire (e.g., extra hours, damages) must be paid before departure.
3. Studio Usage Rules
- 3.1. The studio must be used for the agreed-upon purpose only (e.g., filming, photography, podcasting, etc.).
- 3.2. Smoking, alcohol, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
- 3.3. The Hirer must ensure noise levels are kept within acceptable limits to avoid disturbing other tenants or neighbors.
- 3.4. The Hirer must leave the studio in the same condition it was provided. Additional cleaning fees may apply if the space is left in an unacceptable condition.
4. Equipment & Facility Use
- 4.1. The studio hire includes basic lighting, furniture, and facilities as agreed upon at the time of booking.
- 4.2. Additional equipment (e.g., cameras, lighting, sound systems) must be booked separately and is subject to availability.
- 4.3. The Hirer must not modify or move any fixed installations without prior consent.
5. Liability & Damages
- 5.1. The Hirer is fully responsible for any damages caused to the studio, its equipment, or facilities during the hire period.
- 5.2. Any damages must be reported immediately to The Showman’s Studio staff.
- 5.3. The Showman’s Studio is not responsible for any personal belongings lost, stolen, or damaged during the hire period.
6. Overtime Charges
- 6.1. The Hirer must vacate the studio at the agreed-upon time. Any overtime will be charged at an hourly rate.
- 6.2. Overtime charges must be settled before departure.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
- 7.1. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the booking date may be charged up to 50% of the total hire cost.
- 7.2. No refunds will be issued for early departures or unused hours.
8. Health & Safety Compliance
- 8.1. The Hirer is responsible for ensuring the safety of all attendees during the hire.
- 8.2. Fire exits must remain clear at all times.
- 8.3. Any health and safety incidents must be reported immediately to The Showman’s Studio staff.
9. Termination of Hire
- 9.1. The Showman’s Studio reserves the right to terminate the hire agreement if the Hirer breaches any terms.
- 9.2. Upon termination, the Hirer must vacate the premises immediately.
